I will preface this by saying I am a basic investor...my Roth IRA is in VOO, iShares Russell 3000, and VGHCX, and my 401k is in a Vanguard 2055 Target fund...unsure if this is good or not, but it seemed like a safe bet with a decent performance history.
The below article by Forbes (1st red flag, I know) states these three funds are reliable high dividends. Why do people not invest a ton in these high yield funds? I am a novice so what do I not understand? I would appreciate any insight from those much smarter than I am in the investing realm.
