So I currently drive a 2016 Mazda6. The car is absolutely wonderful but I made an irresponsible first car buying choice and I really don't need something as nice and shiny (and expensive) as this car. I can afford my payments right now, but my plans changed and now I'm about to move out on my own for college and I'm nervous about having such a high bill on my car. I can get a higher value for the car and completely pay off the remaining balance if I sell privately, but I have never done anything like that and need advice on how to go about that and the dangers/benefits of it. In addition to that, do you guys have any suggestions for cheaper, highly reliable cars? Preferably manual transmission and good on gas mileage. I'm very aware that I made a dumb car buying choice, but I'm trying hard to learn how to be a functioning adult so please be kind :)
