My new boss pays with a weekly check with no withholdings and tells me that I'll get a 1099 at the end of the year to pay my taxes. From my understanding this makes me a self employed private contractor that he's hired. Are there any good free apps that I can use to keep track of what I'll owe the IRS at the end of the year? Id like to avoid getting blindsided with tax debt.
