I am set on building something essentially identical to the Thule Hoist. It uses a rotating pipe to wind 4 lengths of rope to lift the item being stored.I am stumped on the gearbox mechanism that can be rotated from beneath. Appears to be some kind of sealed worm drive mechanism. So far the only thing I can think of is modifying a right angle drill adapter like this, but I'm not certain it could handle the torque.Any leads? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zTAC6c
