So, I don't consider myself cheap, I just like my money to go the furthest. I often buy things that are slightly more expensive but known to be reliable and longer lifespan. For example, I bought a Jeep Wrangler, because they are easy to work on keeping maintenance costs down, and carries more resale value than most. One of my favorite sources, since I just bought a house, is America's Test Kitchen Equipment Reviews on YouTube. What sources do you use to research good buys?
