Estimates: Earnings per share of 86 cents, up 10%, as revenue gains 8% to $4.62 billion, according to Zacks Investment Research.
Results: Visa earned 90 cents a share, up 15% vs. a year earlier. Revenue climbed 14% to $4.86 billion. Payments volume rose 9.8% to $1.93 trillion on a constant dollar basis. Cross-border transactions grew 10%.
Outlook: Visa sees fiscal 2018 revenue growth in the "high single digits." The consensus estimate is an 8.5% gain to $19.92 billion.
