Need a little advice. In short, I have a 32”x23” blackboard (landscape on wall). I want to make it swing down to reveal two pieces of whiteboard (these are dry erase type boards). One being attached behind the blackboard and one on the wall/frame. I had planned to use a metal X-square picture frame to mount to the wall but can’t find any. I’m thinking an aluminum sheet could work but not sure how sturty to the wall it’d be with the blackboard hanging, or how the hell the hinge (on the bottom due to how my blackboard/wall-space is atm) would work. The boards are all very thin, minus the boarder-frame the blackboard came with. I’d likely use industrial double-sided tape to attach the whiteboard to the back of the blackboard. Recommendations as far as the hinge and wall mounting go? Trying to take my first steps into the DIY world and making a damn picture frame is too boring for a first project \o/ via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2iwtwQM
