For someone younger with some excess money and a job, what are some tangible investment options/ideas that should be looked into?
I don't have the money for any property in my area, but would definitly like to spend some of my money intelligently instead of just blowing it on expensive food and expensive lifestyle choices like many people my age are.
What I have in mind is something that could be paid for in less than 5 years and then ideally sold if necessary.
I have thought about buying some of the more expensive or exotic tools that could be rented out to workers who need the tool, but won't get their monies worth from actually purchasing it for themselves. I live in the middle of a big city that is constantly expanding, so I don't think it would be too difficult to find someone who needs the tool.
I would like to hear about other alternitives that may be a couple thousand dollars at most.
