Okay guys, I have a meal I do if im strapped for cash and very hungry. Its packed full of carbs and protein and vitamins too! It costs about £1 a meal and is very very filling. Step by step guide. (Applicable for US too)

Preperation:

  1. Go to your local asian food store, they normally sell packs of noodles that are very tasty for like 25p a pack. Stock up, Ive found some great flavours before like lobster and crayfish.

  2. Go to Aldi/Lidl (very cheap food store in UK) and buy a 10 pack of frozen chicken breast (theyre usually about 3-4 pounds a pack)

  3. Go to your local indian/bangladeshi shop, they have plenty of fresh veg sold very cheap (dont worry its edible and safe) Pick up some oinions, tomatos, courgettes etc. Its up to you what you get. (Veg can keep for 2 weeks if stored correctly) to get 10 meals worth you need only spend about £2. Youll probably have surplus too for other meals. Pick up a few potatoes and eggs while youre there. Youll need half a potato per meal and 1 egg.

  4. (Optional) grab some chinese 5spice, approx £1 a pot in morrisons and lasts about 50-100 meals

Cooking:

  1. Pop 1 frozen chicken breast in a pan on a low heat

  2. Prep your veg - wash and cut into fine pieces (preference on how to do it)

  3. Microwave your noodles with the powder sachet in about 300ml of water for about 1:30-2 mins, and half a chopped potato

  4. Youre chicken should be done now, remove and cut up into chunks, keep the pan on

  5. DING! Noodles are done, take them out and put in the pan (youll want the noodle juice in there too)

  6. Literally put everything in the pan!!!

  7. Crack an egg on top and add some 5 spice and stir it all in

  8. Season accordingly and serve

This meal is super cheap, super filling and very tasty! Give it a go!
