Hey guys, girlfriend just bought me a drill to do a few jobs around the house. I've never drilled anything in my life. I've got to a hang a pretty large mirror on a wall which is brick. I was using a 10mm bit to drill a hole to fit plug which takes 6-8mm screws.When I'm drilling through the wall I get maybe a couple of inches and then the drill hits something hard and won't go any further, any ideas what this is or how I can avoid it? If this is something I can't get around should I maybe use shorter screws or is there another way to hang the mirror?Sorry for the stupid question but I've never done this before haha via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2yOcNfH
