So I live in a new build (UK) and have 2 ceiling lights in the kitchen with a double light switch on the wall. One thing they done before I moved in is tell me there is wiring in place behind the double light switch and walls if I ever want to add some spotlights under my kitchen wall cabinets. So .. on the wall near the ceiling above the sets of kitchen wall cabinets there is blank face plates which assuming the wires are behind, they said I just need to change the 2 switch plate to a 3 switch plate for the additional lights.I am looking at adding to philips hue I already have with some under cabinet strip lights. I'd purchases 2 kits for this one for each set of cabinets where the blank face plates are. The hue system comes with a UK plug for power, what I don't understand is if there is wires behind these plates leading to the light switch .. does this mean simply removing the blank face plates and installing 2 single plug sockets for the hue lights is possible? Along with adding the additional light switch at the other end which I'm guessing would switch the 2 plug sockets on/off ?? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xQLNyq
