I'm up to be first time investor in a Fidelity fund that follows the S&P 500. I have the funds ready to transfer from my bank but I haven't actually gone through yet because I have this weird feeling that as soon as I buy the shares the stock market will crash and I will lose my funds. Are there any resources to get me over this stupid fear and to make my money work for me? Thanks.
