I wasn’t sure if it was best to post this here or MaleFashionAdvice? I went here first because the aesthetic aspect of the boots are secondary for me.
I teach high school science and so as a result spend roughly 6-8 hours of my day walking around in concrete/tile floor. I’m 35, 6’2 and weigh 220lbs. I’m looking for a quality shoe to spend my workday in and have heard/seen some positives about these 2 boots. I normally don’t drop this kind of coin in shoes, but I can, and am willing to for my feet. I dint need them to really last for life, I’d honestly be happy to get 3 years out of them, though it’s my understanding people have had pairs for decades. That said, I know the leather holds up, but what about comfortability?
Lastly, and now to aesthetics, my teacher dress code is amazingly lax at my school. I wear Jeans everyday and typically a Uniqlo Supima Cotton solid V-necks or Uniqlo Polo shirts. Style wise would these boots work?
