My wife works soo much that she has 0 time for shoe maintainence. She spends 10-16 hours every day , except every other weekend, on her feet. Eventually that will be mostly standing, but right now there is a ton of crouching. and walking. As a veterinarian, she goets her soes covered with all manner of terrible, and potentially disease ridden fluids almost every other day. Because of this we have been going with the super cheap nearly replaceable shoe strategy, particularly given epidemiological concerns, but buying new shoes every other weekend she has off is getting obnoxious. Shoes doesn't have the free time to perform maintenance on her shoes, and doesn't like clogs. Any thoughts on what might be an appropriate choice? No real top budget, but only if they are able to be sterilized somehow, if there is some chance some drug resistant flesh eating bacteria wound sludge gets on it, and we have to replace them, I would rather not spend more than $200 for that occasional frequency.
