So the house my wife and I just bought is an older house and we are in the process of remodeling. Our laundry room was painted by the previous owners and they painted everything. Even the metal storm door and the windows. I was able to strip the wood off the windows but the side runners were also painted (all pink by the way) should I bother trying to strip the side runners or just try and repaint them. There is no paint where the window actually moves it’s only on the part inside. Replacing the windows would probably be easier but is not really an option and the runners are part of the window so I can replace them.
