Too often I see people saying
"You are being Frugal so you can spend money on X,Y,Z"
That might be fine for many people. However, the next 1 year of my life isnt like that. I will be living on ~19,000$/year because I need to(or go into debt).
I've seen a few threads where this mentality is the top comment, but it doesnt help people who need lower cost solutions to things like buying wine, gifts, and doing things with friends.
