Adding a lean-to to my pole barn. Plan was to just use rafter hangers on each side of the rafters. I'm drawing everything out in sketchup and wondering about the height to set the rafters on the new wall.If I put the rafters flush with the header it creates a flat spot which will probably be a problem when putting the roofing on.
