I bought an OXO digital food scale at a clearance store back in 2013 or 2014. Earlier this year, I realized that the numbers on the digital display were no longer showing up as they should. I thought about ditching it and buying a new one.
Instead, I contacted OXO and told them about it. They only asked that I send them a picture of the item as well as the date stamp showing what year it was made. I sent them the pictures that they asked for, along with my mailing address and then they shipped me a new one.
And the new one works fine.
