Hey so I want to start investing small amounts of money here and there. I already invested a bit in bitcoins (I know ppl on this sub hate it but it seems to have an average rate of return a lot higher than most other assets despite the volatility).

Anyhow, I am trying to save 500 a month. I am planning to invest in facebook, amazon google and probably add some S&P500 in there.

Now from what I have gathered, you could buy 1share of facebook or google ect depending on your broker. You have however to pay some extra fees because you are only getting 1 stock instead of the typical say minimum 100 stock packages.

Now I would like some suggestions on the best way to do that. Ultimately, I was a portfolio containing 20%fb, 20% alphabet, 20% amazon , 20% s&p500 and 20% netflix.

Any idea what would be the best way to achieve this? Should I go for ETFs that track these stocks or just for the stock itself. I recently finished a masters in financial engineering. I know the basics of portfolio optimization and risk mitigation but I don't know the practicalities. I have never used any broker ect... Also wondering about the risks of being hacked ect... Ps: I am not from the us.

Any help and suggestions would be welcome. Ideally someone to guide me through the steps to set everything up. Do not hestiate to use financial jargon as I am familiar with most topics.

Thank you
