Hey guys. So the situation is I’m a 1L Law Student and also avid PC gamer who’s only ever had a desktop, looking to get a laptop for law school after a couple of months of doing it I realize I really need the portability to do work.
I’m looking for the best value for my money here. I’m good with computers, I understand how to get the most out of them. I’m looking to just do word processing and web browsing. The only concern I have is I’ve seen my brothers have dells, and I actually have my grandmothers old Inspiron which is only 3 years old, but with 2GB of RAM the thing legitimately can not download exemplify which is our exam processing software. I’m just looking for something that can do basic web browsing and document processing quickly enough to be proficient for work, to last as long as possible, and be kind to a budget. I realize this is subjective, but whatever you think fits the qualities outlined here I appreciate.
