Hi r/DIY! Long time lurker here. Okay so here's the deal, I have a 2nd cousin who is almost like a little sister to me. She's graduating from college with a degree in math pretty soon. So, I got the idea to make her something as a present. I'm fairly handy but NOT a woodworker. I found this jewelry box which might to the trick.So, I'm thinking I sand it down to get it nice and smooth then get some math themed kind of overlay and glue it down?
