My company generously provides a daily meal allowance during the relocation process. I have $450 a week to spend however I wish, whether that be groceries or dining out. I do have to submit receipts, but have confirmed with HR that they really don't care what I spend it on as long as it's food and not 'stuff'.
Other than our daily/weekly food needs, what are some ways I can maximize this over the next four weeks without just stocking up on rice and beans - granted I've been buying all sorts of rice varieties that I would have passed up before. Groceries are much easier for me right now - dining out with a toddler tends to be a crapshoot around dinner time.
Thanks in advance!
