Taobao is a Chinese based internet market, think of it as an online mall full of some of the cheapest stuff you can find. It takes some getting used to as far as how to find products and buying through what's known as a shopping agent such as superbuy.
That said, it's a great place to find essentials like clothing, bedding, kitchenware, etc. just know that it is international, so you'll deal with international shipping and customs.
