Basically over the last 12 months I have been in the bottom third of an employee performance matrix and my manager let me know my future at my current company looks bleak. There is a small chance I could turn things around but not likely. I am interviewing with another company and my third and final interview is tomorrow. I think I have a pretty good chance of getting the job, only problem is it pays $51,000 a year. I currently get paid $65,000 a year and get a company car. I don't know whether to take this new job, stay at my current job and enjoy the extra $1000 for the last few months before they let me go, or just keep looking? My current situation allows myself and my fiance to save $750 a month in savings but if I take this paycut I will be scraping by every month.
