I'm 23, male USA in the military and I want to start investing. I have not contributed to an IRA or TSP. I know I'm running out of time to start making a decent retirement for myself. I don't know anything about retirement, investing, etc but I want to start now before it's too late. I'm married, we don't want kids (and that's not going to change) so I'm not worried about paying for Anyone's college. I just want to be well off by the time I'm 60 and ready to throw in the towel. I'm not broke at all right now. I'm very good with my money and only buy things I know I can afford. I have over 12k saved up and use a credit card only to build credit (excellent credit and cards paid off) and I intend for savings to continue increasing. However, I feel as though that money could be better put into something that will make me more money through interest or other means. Where do I start?
