I am 21 years old I work part time since 16 and currently in college. I come from a poor area. I have always felt guilty spending money on myself because my parents would always ask the price and kind of be 'disappointed'. They do not spend money on themselves, wear really old clothes and generally are not great with money management.
So I have built up some savings from solid hard work and need to get the guilt out of my head and enjoy myself and treat myself, without spending too much. I see my friends enjoy their time wearing nice things, going nice places. Every transaction I feel like I have lost something which is wrong.
I also don't know what I am saving for.
