Hello internet people!
I've been reading about peoples thrift finds and was wondering if I'm just bad at it.
First of all I live in Germany, I learned about thrifting several years ago from the US-comunity. I tried it (or tried to give it a try?), there were barely any in my area. And when I went further out the results were underwhelming or the stores were closed down.
Thrift stores here are called second hand stores and dont have this marking down price system, that some in the US seem to have.
When I went to the stores I tried having no expectations besides Im broke and some new clothes would be nice. So far I didnt find one single thing while thrifting.
How do you thrift, what do you look out for? Are there tips or tricks? Are there maybe any german thrifters out here and I'm just looking in the wrong area?
