Long story short, I was with my girlfriend's family at the supermarket and her sister's boyfriend basically likes to show me up by buying anything her sister wants. Her sister wanted wings, so he got 4 different largebags of frozen ones for dinner, which is a bit extreme for one night's meal. I mentioned that and he just basically laughed it off like I was being cheap, but in my head it was because we just didn't need that many bags for 1 night.
How do you deal with someone who laughs at you for living a frugal life and not buying things that are unnecessary?
