Hi r/DIY,I have a bit of a conundrum on my hands and was hoping for some guidance. I just moved into a new apartment and noticed there is no vent or filtration above my stove. There is however, a space for an OTR microwave.kitchen As you can see, there's no outlet in the cabinets above where the microwave would go. There is an outlet to the left above the countertop though. So could I run an extension to that outlet? Not sure if that is a code violation or not. One other thing, the apartment does have central AC/heat with a fan setting. There are two large vents located relatively close to the stove.vents I believe the one on the right does draw air in if not both but have not yet ventured to test it by cooking anything major yet.
