I'm hoping someone can help me with what should be a simple wiring problem. I'm trying to light up an LED using a 9v battery, and control it with a rocker switch. Where I'm having trouble is that the rocker switch includes its own LED, which should light when the switch is "on." I can't figure out how to make that part work.I've got the 9v positive wire connected to the resistor, then to the LED positive pole. The negative pole of the LED goes to the load terminal on the switch, and then the line terminal of the switch goes to the negative wire on the battery. There is a third terminal on the switch for neutral - where should this be connected? I believe this is why the little LED on the switch isn't working.Any help would be appreciated.
