I have a heat pump and electric furnace. Last fall I replaced the thermostat with a Wifi thermostat and of course the wiring was not exactly the same. After researching on the internet I wired it the way I thought it should be and it heated great through the winter. However this summer it would not cool. I called the local electrician and he had me switch one wire and then the cooling worked fine. Now of course it won't heat correctly. If it's set to Auto or heat, it will come on and heat, but it won't shut off once it reaches temperature. In fact, turning the thermostat to cool or off won't stop it - once it's heating I have to turn the breaker off to stop it.The problem is when I moved that wire I made a note in my phone but it somehow got deleted, so I don't know which wire I should move back. Here is a picture of the wiring in the thermostat.http://ift.tt/2yL4zZ1, if anybody can direct me towards which wire I should move and back to where that would be awesome. Even more awesome would be to tell me what I did wrong and wiring it in the first place. Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xHzZ2l
