Help! I spray primed and painted this teapot gold. I then taped it off to add a decorative green triangle. When I removed the tape, it damaged the glossy sheen of the gold paint. The triangle is really crisp though! I am using Frog Tape for delicate surfaces. I have experimented with painting a gloss top coat before taping and the effect still occurred. Thoughts? Tips?
