I recently bought a large, 0.25"-thick neoprene mousepad and cut it to size to fit the surface of a keyboard tray. However, this leaves the bare, unprotected edges of the mousepad exposed, and it's already showing a slight amount of wear.I tried some edge trim meant for car doors and sheet metal; this one unfortunately was too rigid to open enough to even fit the neoprene into it. I'm hesitant to try a larger one with a wider opening because I don't want it to rise up too far above the pad surface (although I'm willing to suck it up if necessary). I have no sewing equipment, so a fabric strip like the one the mousepad came with is probably also out.Is there some different recommended way to protect the edges of neoprene that I'm missing? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2hY2IVA
