So I got a call tonight at 10:40 pm from American Airlines saying my flight schedule was changed and they needed to re-book me as I was going to miss my connection.
My flight is in December.
Long story short about an hour later going through options I found they literally had no options to get me to my final destination that day.
I can cancel my flight and get a full refund but a replacement flight is more expensive now as I got these tickets nearly 6 months ago.
Am I just screwed? Should I expect anything in return? I've already booked the flight on the other airline (I've got 24 hours to cancel) and said to American it was too late and I will have to figure this out tomorrow.
