While trying to freeze my credit (I still can't) with Experian, I was offered a "Free Dark Web scan" just writing my email. So I did, and a couple of days later, I received an email from Experian saying that the dark web has my email (and more information could be compromised). Discover offers the same service for free, and nothing was detected.
1.- Should I be concerned or this is another way for them to sell you their "protection services"?
2.- Is there anything real about these "Dark Web Scans"
