I have a bit of DIY experience, but not a lot of experience mixing carpentry with masonry, so here's my question:I want stucco columns on our patio cover.Having a heck of a time finding the right hardware. I see some column caps at home depot for 60 bucks a pop, was hoping to find an alternative.I'll have 4 cinder block columns as my posts, what do I need to fasten a 4x10" beam across as my header?Just looking for an economical solution that won't cost more than the columns themselves to connect.Thanks via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2krapbp
