So it's my first time posting here so I hope I'm in the right place, but it's been irking me for a long time now. I've been cutting down on stuff to prepare for moving. It's a long process, but I feel a lot less relaxed whenever I have less to maintain.

There are things I have to sell, but it's exhausting for some reason. So they just end up standing on a crowded table, waiting to be dealt with. I have no idea how to deal with this, as I could very much use the money I could get from these items.

Most other stuff I put most of the things in the swap room (it's a student apartment with access to a swap room, which is really really neat) or donate to a clothes recycling bin.

But I can't seem to figure out how little I want to keep! I have a lot of hobbies, and while I don't desire a lot of my things, some objects could turn out to be useful in the future. Other things, like my piano or drawing supplies, just take up a lot of space in general.

The biggest irk right now however is clothes. I only buy new pieces to replace absolutely necessary clothing articles, but that huge pile of dirty clothes stacks uo nevertheless.

So I guess my questions are as following 1) How to know what I should/shouldn't keep? 2) How few clothing articles are really needed?

I'm open for tips and tricks as well as general advice, I'm just so tired that I kind of just want to throw out everything but I know that wouldn't help me without some planning first!
