I've been following the sub for a while now, and have decided to take the steps into cleaning up my own credit.
First step in a lot of peoples' journeys was to get started with credit karma.
I tried to make an account, but it says that all of my personal info matches an account that was already created.
It shows me the email that my account is supposedly linked to, but it's not an email addess that has ever been associated with me, and not anything close to any of mine.
I sent an email to customer support for CK, but what other steps should I be taking right now to figure this out?
