I've never had to budget for my food. Ive usually had around $100 every week for the past 3 years living on my own to eat and was always really comfortable. If I spend more than $30 a week on everything then I won't be able to make monthly payments on my credit cards ( very very high car insurance ) not driving is an option because public transportation will pick me up at my door and take me to class but I'm worried that if I cancel my car insurance when I decide to find a new provider, being uninsured and having a less than good driving record will make my rates crazy high.

Also I have a dog, so using public trans isn't ideal for taking him out regularly. And I have food for him for about 2 months.

I have to "survive" until December when I can go home and work a little bit at my old job

Edit : title wrong. $30 for everything( food , gas, dog food , toiletries etc)
