I have a nylon raincoat from Land's End that has some kind of waterproofing coating or something added that makes the water bead on it. I like the jacket, have had it for maybe 5 years now, and it now has some ring-around-the-collar and cuffs from use (I've never washed it, it's usually too cold to wear it in the rainy season here). In the past I've not had good luck with washing or taking things like this to the dry cleaner. I mean, who knows, maybe I'm just an idiot somehow with what I'm doing to try to clean it.
I want to maintain this jacket and clean it, so I don't just have to buy a new jacket like I've done in the past. Can someone direct me to resources/a subreddit to help me maintain this jacket?
