Verizon's plan is getting so ridiculous and I can't afford a phone that I need. They've made it so that you must pay full retail price on all phones. You can finance it and pay a monthly fee for 2 years but you will end up paying it in full by the end. I still have an iPhone 5 because I cannot add ~$20-30 on to my monthly bill only to get stuck with a phone for 2 years that I will still have to continue to pay monthly for if it gets lost/stolen/breaks. The only way to cover myself on this is to get their insurance plan which (depending on the phone) costs approximately $10 per month plus a deductible that's no less than $100. I realize devices are advancing and will cost more but this is insane! After my phones cell service stopped working I went into Verizon to get it fixed and they told me this is happening to all old iPhones and it's Apples doing. I need a reliable phone. Do other service providers have better deals or should I try to get a used phone from eBay?
