So I don't normally reach out, let alone in auch a public fashion as this, but I'm currently in a bind. Through my own stupid mistakes I am unemployed and ineligible for EI. I have roughly $400 and I am currently on Ontario works. But as it is the maximum they can give is about $500. Rent on the other hand is 650+ for a one bedroom.

My current living status is with my sister but my time here is running out. I don't have too many options for other places to stay due to more previous bad life decisions.

Now I am looking for work but the market isn't great around here, it's not that I'm picky. I'll literally work anywhere but with no vacancies for someone with no experience, I'm left in a rut. My thoughts have led me to just pick up and start new out west, but with limited funds I'll likely only be able to buy my plane ticket.

My question is to anyone who has ever picked up and moved out west (AB/BC). What kind of things should I expect? Are there any resources out there to assist someone trying to get on their feet again?
