I bought some Howard Butcher Block Conditioner and like the dumbass I am, I only bought light wood instead of multiple different types of wood. My question is, if I stained the wood two different colors to have some contrast, can I then apply this wax conditioner once the stain has dried? I want to make a cutting board, but only bought poplar and maple.
