I am moving in with my boyfriend and have a few different questions...
1) I make significantly more money than my boyfriend. Splitting reoccurring fees (rent, renters insurance, electric, water, etc.) 50/50 seems a bit weird. I was thinking that maybe we could do it proportionately (i.e. we'd each pay 40% of our paychecks to cover that amount). Thoughts?
2) What about expenses that are shared but that may vary such as supplies, food, nights out together, etc? I know a couple that put a certain amount of cash in an envelope each month and use that... looking for more ideas or ideas that are a bit more hightech.
