i've noted a few things - one being that i you check via rail (canadian travel), they do a Tuesday deal. If you select that page, you can painstakingly click from date to date (one day at a time) and secure tuesday pricing for any time in the future (a bit cheaper than if you search using the front page). I also noted a 12.5% discount for hostel international members, and a 10% discount for CAA. Does anyone have any tactics that beat these numbers?
Side note: I'm only just recently becoming aware of the full cost of driving (economic, not even environmental). Worth reading about.
