I hope this is the right place to post this. Basically, I am a 21 year old girl living in an apartment where I pay rent directly to my roommate. I have no credit and no rental history, and i'm not on the lease. He will be moving in about a years time, which means I'll have to find a new place to live or try to take over the lease. I am financially stable and pay my rent on time, is there anyway I can track or log my payments to him so that I can acquire some rental history so that I have a better chance of renewing the lease when the time comes? I have been homeless for years and have worked very hard to be in the stable situation i'm in now, and I want to make sure i'll have some credentials when I'm put in the position of moving again.
