Looking for somebody to let me know if what i'm dong below is correct for 60 amp subpanel in detached garage.From main panel - 2 black THWN 6 gauge wire 1 white THWN 6 gauge wire 1 groundAt detached garage 2 ground rodsQuestions 1) On my detached garage i have a solar installation. I have a 6 gauge ground running rom the solar system to the main panel. Can i tap into that ground line rather then running a new ground from the main panel?2) Is 6 gauge sufficient for 60 amp panel?3) The run is about 120 ft from the main panel to the sub. It would be cheaper to buy a 500 ft of black wire for the 3 wires. Could i tape one of the black wire runs white at the end or is that against code?Thanks via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2hWyS7M
