I'm not a very savvy investor and I don't know that much about how ETFs work. A while back I purchased the iShares XUS ETF in order to get in on the US market. Being a Canadian this was great because I did not have to convert my money to USD to buy "US equity". The problem is that for the past few months XUS has been declining while the S&P 500 has been climbing. This is the first time I see the two moving in different directions. Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?
