Hello. I don't post pretty much at all. I read some stuff about what to do if something like this happens, but I just wanted to see what someone else in my position might do.
I was at the martial arts club at my university, while I was there, someone decided to swipe my wallet. I just noticed this morning, since I drove home in my training gear.
Contents of the wallet included, social security card, bank account number and pin, passport card, license, all my insurance information, some other stuff not as important. I have many doctors appointments because of diseases I have, that's why I kept all those forms of id with me. Some doctors have even required to see my SS card. I regret carrying it on me now, but I can't do much about it now.
What should I do? I canceled my debit card, but I want to put freezes on my credit, but since I am without a debit card, I can't do that. I also don't want to get a new debit card or anything, since they have all my account information from my bank.
Any advice would be very much appreciated. I'll be in class today, but I will check this later to see what is said. Thanks!
