I was thinking of pursuing a certification just for kicks and because I don't really learn unless I have something invested. I don't see this particular cert discussed much on here... but it seems cheap and easy, especially relative to something like CFA which wouldn't be doable just for entertainment.
Is there any real educational value in the AAMS that would help with personal investing, or should I just stick with picking random books I find interesting out of the CFA curriculum?
